Angler Joy had a very successful trip that included this nice Albacore!

This nice Albie was caught in the afternoon. We were catching them all day long. We had a couple real nice stops!

This Albacore was Andrew?s first Albacore! He later caught more fish. He was a very quick learner!

We started the day around the 1010 we had decent fishing early AM. Collectively, we farmed 10 fish! I don?t really know why? The totals were: Outer Limits 15 Anglers caught 7 Albacore and 3 Yellowtail. We did get some good quality. We had a 28 pound Albacore and a 25 pound Yellowtail. Ryan and I got a double jig stike. I am pictured here with the fish. Ryan was taking a power nap! I would like to thank Captain Paul and his excellent crew. The service was top notch. The food was excellent. The bunks were comfortable. I was very impressed with the electronics on this boat. Thanks again. And I hope to see you soon! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Seaforth is ideally located and easy to get to! The parking is much better than the Point Loma area! When you have a chance try the Outer Limits and Seaforth Sportfishing!

During our afternoon bite we were fortunate to be able to watch our Navy practice. We saw fighter jets take off from the Aircraft Carrier and touch down then continue with the flight to only touch down and take off again. At one point a Navy helicopter breezed by to checkout our hot Albacore action!

Here I am with one of my many Albies for the day! I sure had fun. The bite we had at dusk was incredible. I don?t have any pictures from that bite but let me tell you it was awesome!

Angler Dennis Evans and another nice Albacore! The second day we caught mostly Yellowtail. But there were some nice Albies, too!

I caught this nice Albacore on the troll using a 4.5 ounce Catchy Tackle Zuchinni. This was the largest Albacore I caught during my trip. My personal totals were 11 Albies and 12 Yellowtail. I also handed off two Yellows!

Today we fished on the Doctor?s Orders out of Dana Wharf Sportfishing with Skip Driggers and his crew Kerri and Ben. We arrived early in the morning to fish the Butterfly Bank. It was a cold morning and the seas were bumpy. Believe or not I did not get seasick! We soon got our first jig strike!

I caught this nice Albacore on the troll!

Here we are pictured with some of our catch! We had a great time on the Doctor?s Orders. The fish were a bit shy of the bait. We ended up with only a hand full of bait fish. The rest were caught on the troll. We used our Catchy Tackle Squids very effectively again. If you have a chance give them a try!

Thanks to everyone at Doctor?s Orders Sportfishing and Dana Wharf Sportfishing! We had a great time! We ended up with 19 Albacore for 5 Anglers!

We fished the 60 mile bank on Sunday, August 4th. We arrived in early in the morning! Some people woke up to fish in the dark! Only blue sharks were caught and released. At grey light we began our trolling rotation! It wasn?t long before the first HOOK UP! Here is Jason Irwin from Long Beach, CA hooked up early in the morning!
