Roger Kuramoto of Santa Monica got the top fish, a 36.4-pound albacore. Tokichi Ouchi from Los Angeles won second place for a 33.4-pound albacore. Joseph Liu of Los Angeles was third, for a 32.8-pound albacore.

Tom Thompson of San Antonio, TX won first place with a 110-pound yellowfin. Bob Kammerer of La Quinta was second for an 83-pounder. James Lee won third place for an 80-pound yellowfin tuna.

Johnnie Allos of San Diego won first place for an 86-pound tuna. Ziad Kizy of San Diego was second, for a 70-pounder. Al Brandenburg of San Clemente was third, for a 66-pound Guadalupe yellowfin tuna. Don Wallace stood in with the anglers for a lineup shot with his honorable mention 125-pound tuna.

Enrique Cienfuegos of Moreno Valley with his jackpot winning 80.2 lb Yellowtail. Geoff D???Sena of Redondo beach won second place for a 75-pound yellowfin tuna. Bruce Stewart of Paso Robles was third for a 70-pounder.
