Captain Bruce Smith Had close limits on the albacore on this trip with some yellowtail. 1st Don Knotts, 36.0lbs., 2nd Rick Lea, 35.09lbs. and not pictured 3rd Rick Berg, 32.0lbs.

Captain Mike Lackey was out on a 3 day and caught limits of albacore. 1st Max Russell, 36.0lbs. 2nd Doug Brink 34.06lbs. 3rd Tom Nakamura, 32.06lbs.

Captain Shawn Steward was out on a 6 day and fished Cedros and offshore where they caught 393 albacore, 201 bluefin tuna, 159 yellowtail, 27 dorado, 16 yellowfin tuna.

The Searcher out on a 4 day caught limits of albacore and some bluefin tuna. 1st Thomas Kinsella 40.06lbs. 2nd Fred East 38.01 3rd Walter Elizalde 37.05lbs.

The Shogun.

The Shogun was out on a 4 day and caught limits of albacore and a few bluefin tuna. 1st Bob Park 44.07lbs. 2nd and 3rd Patrick Gee 41.09lbs. honerable mention Mr. Valdez 37.08lbs.

Captain John Klein was out for a 5 day trip and had limits offshore for albacore tuna. 1st Pete Davidson 51.09lbs. 2nd Lefty Curtison 48.08lbs. 3rd James Houston 43.08lbs.

We arrived at the fishing grounds around 7am. We started trolling, but had no luck. Capt Pat Cavanaugh decided to stop on some good meter marks, and that is pretty much the story for the trip. All fish came on meter marks...no troll fish. Here is Edith hooked into one of the trip's first albies. Edith fishes long range and has MANY fish over 200. Edith can definitely fish!

Mike did a GREAT job on the trip. Almost all of his gaffs were right on the money! Not only were his gaff shots awesome, he got us out of some mean tangles. THANKS Mike!
